BODØ 2024

In 2024, Bodø became European Capital of Culture. The first city north of the Arctic Circle to receive the title. It is a year long celebration of art and culture, which brought the city together through concerts, exhibitions, shows and more. I had the opportunity to photograph this event, as well as having an exhibition myself.

Midsummer mystery

2024

One of the major events of Bodø 2024, a large-scale performance with storytelling, music and show inspired by Northern Norwegian folklore / mythology.

The show created a modern interpretation of local myths. All of Bodø gathered to watch bonfire-inspired fireworks beside the ocean.

BIF is a network of international societies and cultural groups in Bodø. It brings together people from diverse backgrounds to promote inclusion, cultural exchange, and community engagement through events.
